The first Asian superhero squad in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will reportedly have BLACKPINK Jennie as a member. She will portray the K-pop singer and superhero Luna Snow, also known as Seol Hee, who uses ice manipulation to defend citizens of the Pacific Rim and the rest of the globe. Luna Snow is bilingual in English and Korean, much like BLACKPINK Jennie.

Jennis, of BLACKPINK, seems to be on a roll with back-to-back projects, movies, and performances. Soon after, old rumors about BLACKPINK Jennie joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe started to circulate again, indicating that, like it or not, the idol may not have been her final appearance in the Hollywood scene.

BLACKPINK Jennie is reportedly going to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She will be a part of Marvel’s first ever Asian superhero squad, which uses ice manipulation to defend citizens of the Pacific Rim and beyond. She will take on the role of Seol Hee, a K-pop diva named Luna Snow who has ice-based abilities. Luna Snow is bilingual in English and Korean, much like BLACKPINK Jennie marvel. It’s interesting to note that f(x)’s Luna previously provided Luna Snow’s voice in the 2020 video game Marvel Super War.

Since last year, there have been rumors that, similar to Wanda Vision or Loki, the Agents of Atlas might get their own Marvel Cinematic Universe series. Randall Park, who portrays Jimmy Woo, the team’s fictitious director, has previously appeared as a character in a number of other works.

There is also speculation of the Agents of Atlas participating in upcoming films that star Simu Liu’s portrayal of the Asian hero Shang Chi.
But Jennie’s followers on Instagram have observed that several Marvel Asian actors have done so, including Fala Chen (Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Claudia Kim (Avengers: Age of Ultron), and Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange).

Simu Liu, the actor of the Chinese film Shang-Chi, was also sighted visiting BLACKPINK’s Born Pink World Tour in Los Angeles in November with his fiancée Allison Hsu, the US label’s marketing manager.

For the uninitiated, BLACKPINK is already well-known enough even without BLACKPINK Jennie Kim possibly signing a contract with Marvel. The four-person K-pop group, which was founded in 2016, is now the largest Korean female group in the world.

Dispatch said that word of Jennie’s marvel casting had been circulating since January of this year, while supporters asserted that it had really been going on since 2022.

Many Asian actors from the MCU have started following Jennie on Instagram, including Fala Chen from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Claudia Kim from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Benedict Wong from Doctor Strange.
